The Story

In this world, humanity faces the threat of demons, also known as Majin (魔人 = Demon Person), aggressive, vicious, bloodthirsty, and power-hungry supernatural creatures with a penchant for violence, destruction, and death. Humanity fears these beings for their beastly strength and otherworldly powers. They have fought demons since ancient times and continue to do so to survive.

They seek an artifact, the Eye of Genma, also known as the Magatama of Genma, an ancient jewel said to have been carved from the eye of the Divine Dragon, Genma, and imbued with his incredible power. Many demons and even humans seek the gem, hoping to bolster their strength and rule the land unopposed.

In recent times, the Eye of Genma came into the possession of Jin, a lone traveler known for his great skill with the sword. Jin has become a warrior, despised by demons for challenging their might and for cutting down many of their brethren with his blade. For an unknown reason, Jin travels with the Eye of Genma to protect it from vile humans and demons who seek its power.

As Jin travels the land, he encounters allies and enemies alike to guard the divine jewel and learn its incredible secrets.
